HiggsSignals - Default observable sets
#----------------------------------------------------------------#
#################################################
# latestresults-1.4.0-LHCinclusive #
#################################################
Contains only LHC observables from ATLAS and CMS combinations. The
signal rate measurements are nearly identical to what is contained in
latestresults-1.3.0-LHCinclusive, however, this set comes with only
one mass measurement, i.e. the combined ATLAS+CMS mass measurement of
arXiv:1503.07589. (Associated with our ATLAS H->gamma gamma observable).
#################################################
# latestresults-1.4.0 #
#################################################
Contains in total 85 signal rate measurements from ATLAS, CMS, CDF, D0,
and 4 mass measurements. Latest additions w.r.t. version 1.3.0:
- added ATLAS ttH multilepton observables
- added ATLAS VH->VWW observables
#################################################
# latestresults-1.3.0-LHCinclusive #
#################################################
Contains only LHC observables from ATLAS and CMS combinations.
In total, these are 10 signal rate and 4 mass measurements.
#################################################
# latestresults-1.2.0-LHCinclusive #
#################################################
Contains only LHC observables from ATLAS and CMS combinations.
In total, these are 10 signal rate and 4 mass measurements.
#################################################
# latestresults-1.2.0-CMSgaga125p7 #
#################################################
Same as latestresults-1.2.0 except for the CMS H->gammagamma
category measurements, which have been extrapolated from 125.0 GeV
to 125.7 GeV (see below for details). This extrapolation has been
validated against the CMS six-dimensional scale factor fit.
############################################
# latestresults-1.2.0 (default) #
############################################
Includes up-to-date measurements from ATLAS, CMS, D0 and CDF
in all possible subchannels, as available up to beginning of
March 2014. This includes, among others, the ATLAS H->tautau,
and CMS ttH-tagged results. A few observables have been updated
to the numbers of the corresponding journal publications.
####################################
# latestresults-1.1.0 #
####################################
Includes up-to-date measurements from ATLAS, CMS, D0 and CDF
in all possible subchannels, as available up to October 2013.
####################################
# latestresults-1.0.0_inclusive #
####################################
Includes up-to-date measurements from ATLAS, CMS, D0 and CDF
in the inclusive channels, as available up to April 2013.
It also contains a few mu-plots needed for the mass-centered
chi^2 method.
####################################
# latestresults-1.0.0 #
####################################
Includes up-to-date measurements from ATLAS, CMS, D0 and CDF
in all possible subchannels, as available up to April 2013.
n.B: This is not identical to the version shipped with
HiggsSignals-1.0.0 due to some necessary corrections.
For comparison, the original 1.0.0 observable set is
provided in the directory:
Expt_tables/legacy/latestresults-1.0.0-old

HiggsSignals - Additional observable sets
#----------------------------------------------------------------#
####################################
# CMS-13-005-gaga-125p7 #
####################################
Includes unofficial CMS H->gamma gamma observables for the
Higgs mass of 125.7 Gev, which have been extrapolated from
the official MVA category measurements given for mH = 125.0 GeV.
The extrapolation was done in the following way:
1) universal signal strength mod. have been fitted at 125.0 GeV for
- the untagged categories ---> mu(untagged) = 0.64 (+0.32 -0.30)
- the dijet categories ---> mu(VBF) = 0.79 (+0.58 -0.54)
- e,mu,ETmiss categories ---> mu(VH) = 0.63 (+1.18 - 1.14)
2) Signal strength mod. for 125.7 GeV are given in CMS-PAS-HIG-13-005.
We now assume that the different categories scale "on average"
by the ratio of the corresponding signal strengths,
mu(125.7 GeV)/mu(125.0 GeV)
These ratios are 1.094 (untagged), 1.278 (VBF) and 0.906 (VH).
